Cell phone policy:
"Student possession and use of personal electronic devices, including cell phones, on school campus, at school-sponsored events, and while under the supervision and control of school district employees is only permitted under the following circumstances: before school begins, at lunch and after school ends. However, these devices must be kept out of sight and turned off during instructional time (including physical education) and during passing periods. Unauthorized use of such devices disrupts the instructional program and distracts from the learning environment, and is therefore grounds for confiscation by any school staff member. Confiscated devices will be returned at the end of the school day, or to the parent or guardian if violation of this rules becomes habitual. Repeated unauthorized use of such devices may lead to disciplinary action. Clark Middle School is not responsible for lost or stolen items."
